How Can I Become A Christian?
So many people live their life without knowing that they were created to have a personal relationship with God. God loves each and everyone
of us and He wants you to experience peace and everlasting life. God sent His son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, was buried in the
tomb, and on the third day rose again to pay for the sins of the world so that we can be in relationship with Him.
If you are asking, "Where do I begin in this relationship with God?" accept these facts:
- God loves you and offers you Eternal Life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 - We all are sinners and we cannot save ourselves.
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,..." Romans 3:23 - The penalty for sin is eternal death.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 - Jesus loves sinners.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 - All who place their trust in Jesus Christ can be saved.
"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13"...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
Are you ready to accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ?
Then would you pray this prayer?
Prayer - Jesus Christ forgive me of all that I've done that is wrong. I confess that I am a sinner and I repent of these sins. I place all of
my trust in you for my salvation. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Help me now as your child to follow you with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. Amen.
