Care Classes
Gateway Baptist Church has a heart for our community. Our members are active in projects which will put them in service outside the walls of the church and in the community. We also engage in ministries within the church that are non-traditional and are geared to draw the community into the church. We truly desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the lost around us.
Gateway Baptist Church is able to offer our members, as well as our community, classes which can offer some spiritual help when we find ourselves in life's valleys. We will offer these classes periodically, but can also offer them on demand. If you have a need, just call the office and ask to speak to someone about a Care Class. Gateway offers classes in: parenting, divorce recovery, marriage enrichment, addiction recovery, pre-marital training, creation apologetics and bereavement.
Just Add Water
Just Add Water explores the purpose and history of baptism. The class is offered the Wednesday night prior to the first Sunday of the month
(the first Sunday of the month is the Sunday we schedule baptisms). This class deals with our belief and practice of baptism, and we have a
Just Add Water class geared for children too!
Discover Gateway
Get plugged in at Gateway. Pastor Rick teaches the Discover Gateway Class monthly, which is geared toward new and perspective members. This
class is designed to help those new to the Gateway family to get familiar with the ministry opportunities in their new church home. We have
many ministries which new members are encouraged to take full advantage of. They may feel led to join a ministry team and become the hands
and feet of Jesus!
