Food Pantry
It was 1996 when Gateway Baptist Church began living a vision. The brand new GBC Food Pantry welcomed many families for
the grand opening of what would prove to be a powerful outreach ministry. Wielding prayer, compassion, determination and
volunteers, the Food Pantry ministry grew.
The Gateway Baptist Church Food Pantry has made an impact on the community and on the lives of many who come looking
for groceries but find compassionate help in many ways. Not only is there a good provision of food, but all who come
are treated with respect, encouraged to know God, and offered prayer. Food Pantry clients return to their difficult
lives knowing someone cares.
"For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in."
