Men's Ministry
Gateway's Men's Ministry is designed to assist all men in finding and maintaining a Godly character, which should be evident to their families, friends and their co-workers. This is accomplished through Bible study, gatherings and various Christ-centered outdoors and sports events. Through these activities we can grow in fellowship and accountability. Our efforts toward the hearts of men are intentional and designed to foster spiritual growth, deepen their personal relationships and to build all of the men of Gateway into the husbands and fathers God has called each of them to be. Men's Bible Study
Not meeting at this time. Join us for Evening Prayer Meetings on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.
Men's Breakfast
The deacons help prepare a meal for the Men's Breakfast which meets monthly on the last Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. The food is great and the fellowship is even better! From time to time we even use this opportunity to serve the church in a community workday.
Men's Prayer Meeting
The Men meet on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary. Childcare is not available.
Legacy Outfitters
Legacy Outfitters is a local chapter of a Christian outdoorsmen organization. Legacy Outfitters brings together men who share a passion for the outdoors and gives them the perfect place to share life-shaping experiences in a positive, encouraging environment. We long to inspire generations of men who will leave a legacy worth continuing...a legacy of faith in Jesus Christ and of responsibility as a man. We meet the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the KC Hall on 1488; men 17 years and older are welcome.
Activities
Fishing - this ministry reaches out to the fishing enthusiasts and outdoorsmen in our community. Our mission is to bring
men together to fellowship, learn and enjoy what our Creator has given us dominion over. We treasure and respect the fish God
has created for our lakes and waterways; we just treasure them a little more when they are covered in cornmeal and lying in a
small amount of heated oil! We also have annual fishing tournaments.
Golf - is an outreach that will appeal to many in our community. Our golf tournaments are for every skill level and are
open to both men and women. Everyone will enjoy a time of fellowship and fun at one of Gateway's golf scrambles. We have two
tournaments and several golf days throughout the year.
Archery Tournaments - Gateway men enjoy the sport and fellowship that is offered in our Archery Ministry. Starting each August we gather on the back lot to hone our skills with "string and stick" as we prepare for Whitetail Archery season.
