Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Staff takes the spiritual well-being of the church and the community very seriously. Our goal is to serve the
people of Gateway as well as those in the surrounding area. We offer services and programs that are meant to reach out to
those in need and enrich their relationship with God and their relationships with others. The Pastoral Care Ministry seeks
to minister to you when you need it most.
Bereavement Ministry
The Pastoral Care Staff, when made aware of the loss of a loved one, attempts to contact a family member to express our condolences. We will pray for the family and offer any assistance that we are able.
Biblical Guidance Ministry
Gateway has several pastors on staff available for individual religious, moral and spiritual guidance. Gateway does not have
licensed counselors on staff and does not provide clinical secular counseling. The type of guidance we offer is strictly
religious, moral and spiritual in nature. The process is based on the belief that God´s Word provides instruction and
solutions regarding the issues of life.
Therefore, we will help you apply scriptural solutions to your struggles and problems. It is our commitment to do what will
best help you walk in obedience to God´s Word and thus experience spiritual growth in your life. Through this process,
you will gain greater insight into your relationship with God and others, finding help and hope. Appointments for this service
can be made by calling the church at 281-363-4500.
Hospital Visitation
Gateway´s church staff welcomes the opportunity to make a personal visit at one of the area hospitals to minister to and pray for you and your family during a hospital stay. You are encouraged to call the church office when you or a loved one enters the hospital. Visits are normally made within 24 hours of the notification, but quicker response is offered if it´s an emergency.
Prayer Ministry
Lifting up the special needs of our families in prayer is an important part of Gateway´s Pastoral Staff. You can call the church office with your prayer request or email it to prayer@gbcspring.org.
