Senior Adult Ministry
At Gateway, being a senior is more of a stage than an age. This is the time to kick back and enjoy life, friends and
family. We have a very active Senior Adult Ministry geared toward those who are 55+.
In addition to Sunday morning Bible Study, Gateway"s Senior Adult Ministry has lots of activities throughout the year,
including a quarterly Club Day, periodic Mystery Trips, annual Senior Adult Retreat and other trips sprinkled throughout
the year. We love to go places!
Mystery Trips
About once each quarter, the senior adults go on a Mystery Trip. The destination of this day trip is kept under wraps until
the bus departs the church! Watch the online calendar or the Sunday bulletin for specific dates.
Senior Adult Retreat
Every fall, the Senior Adults go on a week-long retreat for a time of worship, fellowship and renewal. This economical trip is a big hit with senior adults and we team up with other area churches, so it's a great opportunity to meet new people!
Senior Club Day
Senior Club Day meets bi-monthly. We feature special themes and guest speakers. It is an opportunity for members and non-members
to join together in worship, song, fellowship and fun! We provide lunch for every senior (and the desserts are especially good!).
