The Gateway Staff
Rick Fowlkes, Senior Pastor
Pastor Rick Fowlkes was called to be Gateway's pastor on March 7, 1987. He has gracefully and faithfully served
since, being Gateway's only pastor. Previously, he served at two other Texas Baptist churches, one in
Macon and the other in Plano. He performed his post-graduate studies at Luther Rice Seminary where he earned a
Master's degree. Rick surrendered his life to God at the age of six, and was called to ministry at only 17 years
old. He began serving the Lord almost immediately in evangelism before accepting his first pastorate at 21, and he has
been pastoring ever since. He is a huge supporter of evangelism to Israel, and has led Gateway to support churches,schools and mission endeavors in the land of Israel.

David Riley, Family Life Pastor
David brings twenty years of experience to an already strong and growing church. David has served in many different
capacities in a number of different churches. His exposure to many styles of ministry helps meet Gateway's vision to
minister to the community's ever-changing needs. David and his wife, Terry, have two children and six grandchildren.

Kee Mullennex, Worship Pastor
Kee is an accomplished musician who attended Ouachita Baptist University, where he majored in music. He has been Gateway's
Worship Pastor since 1999, where the music program has continued to grow. Kee leads the Praise Team and Choir
and oversees all musical performances and productions. Kee and his wife, Shannon, are the parents of three daughters.

Brian Parrish, Children's Pastor
Brian was called as Children's Pastor at Gateway in August of 2009. Brian has worked in Children's ministry for 18 years and has been a workshop leader for Tryon Evergreen Baptist Association and the Lead Trainer for South Texas AWANA ministries.
Brian's passion is to see children come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Brian and his wife Patty are the proud parents of 6 children.
