What Should I Expect?

Sundays are fun at Gateway! We have something for every family member. Adults can choose from a number of Bible Fellowship Classes (BFC) on Sunday mornings, while their children are having fun learning about God's Word at the 9:15 a.m. hour. At 10:30 a.m. is our Worship Hour in the Auditorium and KidStuff for the children in the Fellowship Hall.


KidsTown welcomes our youngest members with exciting themes as they enter their classrooms. When it's playground time, they head over to the playroom where they climb and slide through colorful mazes of tubes and indoor playground equipment. The focus of our Children's Ministry is to teach the little ones of God's unconditional love and prepare the way for them to have a personal relationship with Jesus when they are ready.

Children ages four through sixth grade are ready for KidStuff - a special worship service just for them that uses music and drama to deliver the message of God's love. KidStuff is an exciting place to be, and we absolutely love it when parents drop in to take part in the fun!


We also have an AWANA program during the school year on Wednesday nights for the kids. The purpose of this program is to encourage children and pre-teens to study and memorize God's Word (yes, there are prizes involved!).

Our Youth love Wednesday nights because it's a time for them to reflect on God. Contemporary Christian music is played during this worship service that speaks right to the needs and hearts of today's teens. Adults can take part in the regular Wednesday night service that's sure to give a mid-week boost just when you need it!

Throughout the year, you can count on lots of fun events for all ages, including camps and retreats for all ages, Vacation Bible School, Men and Women's weekday Bible studies, Mother's Day Out, mission trips, scrapbooking, Skatechurch, fun nights, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and more.

Safety

Here at Gateway Baptist Church, the care and security of your children are our top priority. We require all parents/guardians to sign the children in and out. We only release children to their parents/guardians. It is our job to keep your children safe and secure; so you can worship our Lord. We also have security that monitors the building and parking lot during your time of worship.
