OUR MISSION AT GATEWAY KIDS IS TO
PARTNER WITH PARENTS TO TEACH KIDS OF GOD’S LOVE.

Every Sunday morning we are blessed to have some of the best children’s workers who come and teach our children.

We feel it is very important to not only teach the children about God, but also how to worship Him TOGETHER.

Every Sunday morning we have Connect Groups for Kindergarten through 6th grade, where we dig into God’s Word, play together, and prepare our kids to be disciple makers. After this, we all join together for live worship, teaching from our Children’s Pastor, and fun games!

Something that we truly believe here at Gateway Kids is
preparing kids and families to worship together.

Studies prove that watching parent(s) engage in worship is essential to your child’s faith development. Another way we do this is “Fifth Sunday Family Worship”. Every time we have a fifth Sunday in a month (this happens about quarterly) the third through sixth grade kids go to worship with their parent(s) in “big church”. We believe it is important that children sit with their parent(s) and learn how they should act from them in a church service. Once they hit the seventh grade they will be in this service usually sitting with the youth. This program allows parent(s) to set the example and expectations early.

We have note taking cards available in the back of the pew to teach the kids note taking and to ensure their engagement in the message.

Our mission is to equip the next generation of disciple makers.

  • We believe that faith in Christ changes our whole life, not our weekly routine.

  • We believe that salvation is for all who believe, including our children.

  • We believe that the family is a crucial part of a child’s walk and relationship with God.

  • We believe in gathering as a community of believers to learn, worship and glorify God.

  • We believe in intentional discipleship, consistency and f u n !
