Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of thruth. {II Timothy 2:15}

At AWANA, we worship together, and work through a discipleship curriculum aimed to teach your kids a love for God’s Word! AWANA Club classes are available for children ages 2 (on or before 9/1/25) thru 6th grade.

This year at AWANA we are walking through the meta-narrative of scripture! We started in Genesis with the story of creation, and will walk through the major historical events in their context until we reach Revelation next Spring. Our hope is to provide an accessible and beneficial understanding of the Bible as a whole so that our kids can come to know the character of God.

Join us from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Wednesday nights!

“Shine” Kid’s Choir at Gateway allows your child to have an opportunity to be in a musical environment. We usually have two major performances per year: an Easter musical and our Christmas program on December 24. In between performances, we will also be rehearsing individual songs for the church congregation.

WE ENCOURAGE YOUR KIDS TO “SHINE A LIGHT” WHEREVER THEY GO!

Your child not only will be learning about God, but they will also be given the opportunity to express their hearts for music! When event performances draw near, our 4 year olds through 6th graders will be having practice on Sundays at 2:30pm.

If you would like to be a parent volunteer helper with “Shine” Kid’s Choir, please contact Sara Esquivel at sara@discovergateway.com

 DC4K IS A PROGRAM THAT WE HAVE ADOPTED TO HELP THE CHILDREN OF FAMILIES THAT HAVE GONE THROUGH OR ARE GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE.

We know that a split between parents has nothing to do with the children and can take a great toll on the children. At DC4K we have room for kids of any age to come and share their feelings and get guidance from a “Safekeeper” (program leader).

Feel free to checkout their website at www.dc4k.org for more information on how the program is designed.
