He Knows Your Name

Week of May 02, 2025

“But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” (Isaiah 43:1, NKJV)

There is something so powerful about hearing your name spoken by someone who loves you. It reminds you that you’re known and valued. In our scripture for today, God speaks to His people in the middle of their fear and uncertainty, and He reminds them: I have called you by name, you are Mine.

No matter what you’re walking through today – whether it’s stress, heartache, or uncertainty, you are not forgotten. God knows your name. He knows your story, your struggles, your victories, and the prayers you have prayed in the in moments when no one else sees.

When the world makes you feel invisible, when life feels overwhelming, remember this: the God who created the heavens knows your name. You are not an accident. You are not forgotten in the crowd.

So lift your head up. Walk with confidence, not because life is easy, but because you belong to the One who holds the world in His hands and He’s made room in His heart for you.

Trusting God in the Waiting

Week of April 25, 2025

“But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV)

Waiting is one of the most difficult places for us to dwell. We live in a world conditioned for speed. Fast food, instant messages, same-day delivery. But God often works on a different timeline.

When Isaiah wrote these words, he was speaking to a people who had known struggle and delay. They longed for something better. God’s invitation to them was to wait on the Lord.

Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac.

Joseph waited 13 years before his dreams came to pass.

David waited over a decade between his anointing and his throne.

Jesus waited 30 years before His public ministry.

Waiting is not wasted time in the Kingdom of God; it’s preparation time. Maybe you’re in a waiting season right now. Remember, God has not forgotten you. He is not late. His timing is perfect, though it rarely aligns with our schedules. When the waiting is over, you’ll see how His hand was moving all along.

Don’t despise the waiting. Perspective is coming. His promise still stands. The God Who births vision in your heart will be faithful to bring the harvest.

Why the Stone Was Rolled Away

Week of April 18, 2025

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” (Matthew 28:6, NKJV)

Early Sunday morning, women came to the tomb expecting to mourn. Instead, the found an angel sitting on a rolled-away stone and heard these words from the angel, “He is not here. He has risen.”

The stone wasn’t rolled away so Jesus could get out, it was rolled away so we could look in.

Jesus didn’t need help escaping the grave. He had already risen, already defeated death, already shattered the grip of sin. The stone was rolled away so we could see the truth – the tomb is empty. Hope is alive. Death has lost its sting.

This Easter don’t miss this truth. The Cross was not the end; it was the path to victory. The grave was not a final resting place; it became the platform for the resurrection. The resurrection is what changes everything.

Whatever fear you carry, whatever guilt or pain you carry, it doesn’t have the final word. Let Easter remind you that no matter how dark Friday looks, Sunday is coming. The resurrection changes everything.
