God's Timing is Perfect

Week of June 20, 2025

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11, NKJV)

Sometimes life feels like it’s moving too fast. But other times, it feels like we’re stuck waiting on an answer to prayer. In those times, it’s easy to grow discouraged and wonder if God sees us, hears us, or cares about what we’re facing.

The above scripture reminds us that God is always at work, He makes everything beautiful in its time; not in our time, but His. What seems delayed to us is never delayed to Him. His timing isn’t random, it’s perfect. He knows exactly when the right moment is for His plan to unfold.

In the waiting, God is preparing us for what He is preparing for us. Delays are not denials. The same God who spoke the universe into existence holds the details of your life in His hands, and when the time is right, He makes all things beautiful.

So if you’re in a waiting season today, don’t lose heart, God hasn’t forgotten you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. When the time is right, you’ll see His hand at work in ways you couldn’t have imagined.

The God Who Finishes What He Starts

Week of June 13, 2025

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” (Philippians 1:6, NKJV)

I hope you’ll remember this simple, powerful truth: God finishes what He starts.

The same God who spoke the universe into existence is the God who breathed life into you. He planted dreams into your heart, called you by name, and set you on a path designed by the Heavenly Father just for you. Even when the road feels uncertain, His hand is steady. Every season has a purpose, every delay has a reason, and every struggle is shaping something in you that you may not see yet, but He does. When you’re unsure, trust His heart.

So lift up your head. You’re not walking alone. God is at work in you and around you. Believe that the best is yet to come.

Offer this prayer: Lord, thank You for being faithful to complete the good work You’ve started in me. Strengthen my heart, help me to walk in confidence, for I believe that You hold my future. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

God Bless, Pastor Rick

Man's Extremity is God's Opportunity

Week of June 06, 2025

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exodus 14:14, NKJV)

Have you found out that life has a way of throwing battles your direction? The good news is we are not fighting alone.

In Exodus 14, God’s people found themselves in an impossible situation. Pharaoh’s army was pursuing them from behind, and in front of them, was the Red Sea. Fear spread through the camp. But then, Moses spoke words that would echo through generations. “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” In other words, when the enemy is advancing and your options seem exhausted, don’t panic. Trust in the God who parts seas and makes a way where there is none. God didn’t leave them to figure it out on their own. He intervened and led them safely through.

Often, God allows us to reach the end of ourselves before He steps in. “Man’s Extremity is God’s Opportunity.”

The battle you’re facing might not be about what you can do – but about what God wants to do in you and through you as you trust Him.

Identify one battle you’ve been trying to fight in your own strength. Now read Exodus 14:14 and believe this scripture. Watch how your perspective begins to shift as you release it to Him.
