Week of May 21, 2021

“The coastlands saw it and feared, the ends of the earth were afraid; They drew near and came. Everyone helped his neighbor, and said to his brother, “Be of good courage!” Isaiah 41:5-6 (NKJV)

Life is not easy. The ever-increasing cost of living, contentions with others, and poor health all contribute to making life difficult at times. Many people accept difficult circumstances as the norm. As Christians, we are not guaranteed freedom from trials and problems, but if we feel that God has let us down, we will only join the voices of so many other people who feel life is unfair, which only leads to more despair.

If we learn to cast our cares upon the Lord, the Holy Spirit who resides in every believer will prevent you from sinking into despair. He will guide you to solutions to your life problems. The result will be you will be able to live a victorious Christian life.

With the power of Christ's indwelling Spirit, you will rise victorious over negative circumstances. Your victory will result in others seeing a clearer path. They will learn to look past the negative and see the good future that God has planned for them.
