“Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” (Psalm 50:23, NKJV)
The world is teeming with people who complain incessantly. Sometimes their complaints are valid, but often they are born of a spirit of discontent. The danger of constant complaining is that it can become a habit. Eventually, you forget that there are more things to be grateful for than to complain about. If you are presently complaining more often than expressing gratitude, you are living an inferior quality of life.
A grateful heart makes getting along with others easier and more rewarding, and it makes those who live and work with you happier as well.
We should never let a day go by without expressing our gratitude. You will have a difficult time finding someone who rejoices in God with praise and thanksgiving but still suffers from depression at the same time. Start thanking God for His gifts of grace, and He will already be planning your next blessing to receive.
God bless, Pastor Rick
