Life With Meaning

Week of November 27, 2020

“A man’s steps are of the Lord; how then can a man understand his own way?” (Proverbs 20:24, NKJV)

When God controls your life, you learn to abide by the guidelines of love, forgiveness, faithfulness, compassion, and more.  These are God-given and inspired virtues.

In a spiritual life, there is no room for pettiness.  To harbor a grievance against someone, refuse forgiveness, and be thrilled when someone else falls or fails is a symptom of an immature spirit.

If you sincerely strive to live according to God’s will, some of the characteristics of your Heavenly Father will be revealed in your spirit as well as in your attitude and actions.  When the Holy Spirit lives in you, you reflect the qualities of Christ in your life.  You will develop a sensitivity that will enable you to distinguish between what is important and what is unimportant.  You will live to the glory of God and be guided by His Holy Spirit.  Under His guiding hand, your life takes on real meaning.
