“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:11, NKJV)

Lack of interest in spiritual things is a weakness in the lives of many Christians. They have become so accustomed to sacred things that they are no longer affected by them. Do the sacred and spiritual things still stir your heart?

Some people show their enthusiasm for the things of God through emotional demonstrations. There is nothing wrong with that. However, there is a more meaningful way to be an enthusiastic Christian. That is to lead a life that is filled with the Spirit of Christ.

The Holy Spirit wants to permeate every facet of our lives. This is what the infilling of the Holy Spirit is all about. Your thoughts, your emotions, your likes, and dislikes, everything is surrendered to His control. When this happens, that flame of Christian enthusiasm comes alive in your life.

The Holy Spirit inspires your whole life. Every part of your life reflects the love of Jesus and the fruit of the Spirit, even if it is sometimes imperfect. You become enthusiastic about living the Christian life, and this is the life that inspires others to follow your example.
