“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” Psalm 32:8 (NKJV)

It is not always easy to discern the will of God. Often people ask, “What is God’s will for me in this situation?” We know that God wants us to obey the Ten Commandments and to love as He commanded us to, but when it comes to the personal complexities of life we cannot always so easily see the will of God.

An intimate relationship with Jesus is necessary for you to recognize God’s guidance. With an intimate relationship comes a sensitivity to His ways and then every time you act contrary to His will your heart feels uneasy. As we study the Bible and gain knowledge of the Scriptures it makes it much easier to know and understand God’s principles.

So, as we live in fellowship with our Lord and as we obey His word, He will guide us through the Holy Spirit and our words and deeds will be brought in line with God’s will.
